Mariko’s talent and expertise serve multiple project types across the firm. Her advocacy for community-based projects lead thoughtful and inclusive solutions that meet the needs of both its community and stakeholders. For each project she engages, she goes the extra mile to develop strong relationships, resulting in inspirational spaces that embody environmental stewardship and offer long-term value and performance.

Mariko is an active member of Mahlum’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Continuing Education Committee and in service to historic preservation, she is a council member with Historic Seattle.

Mariko holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from California State University, Sacramento. She is NCIDQ certified, a Certified Interior Designer in California, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
