Alyssa Leeviraphan

AIA, LEED AP

Principal

“Curiosity, wonder, and intrigue are what drive me in life and work. A desire to continually grow and share with others, in an effort to make positive change and bring joy. Developing meaningful relationships and discovering what makes each person, place, and situation special is what I seek.”

Alyssa has more than 25 years of architectural experience working on numerous educational facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest. As a respected leader in the firm, Alyssa continues to make significant and positive impacts on Mahlum’s firm-wide initiatives and programs. She is seen as a role model and mentor who listens carefully and values everyone’s contributions. She is continually learning and draws from her own lived experiences to improve our work.

In her 22 years at Mahlum, Alyssa has been involved in all our markets. During her early years, she focused primarily on our healthcare projects and shifted to education projects in the early 2000s. Over the years, she has been integral to our educational work with the Forest Grove, Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Eugene School Districts. Alyssa was fundamental to our success on the Grant High School Modernization project with Portland Public Schools; navigating complex engagement processes and technical challenges, which set Mahlum up for our current work for Portland Public Schools’ Cleveland High School Modernization.

Alyssa received a Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University. She is a registered architect in Oregon and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
