With more than 20 years of experience with educational clients, Jesse is passionate about creating sustainable, healthy spaces for learners of all ages. As project architect and energy efficiency specialist he works closely with design teams and district staff to maximize efficiency, and thermal comfort. An early adopter of BIM, he is an office-wide leader in Revit documentation, building envelope design, and energy code compliance. Jesse is committed to mentoring Mahlum staff and sharing his knowledge of the profession.

Jesse is currently serving a two-year term as Co-Chair of the AIA 2030 Working Group – a group that provides strategic direction for the AIA 2030 Commitment, its annual By the Numbers report, and Design Data exchange (DDx) updates. Holding a Bachelor of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, Jesse is a registered architect in Washington, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Passive House Consultant.
