Associate
“I believe that rooting design in people and place helps us center what truly matters for the communities we serve. I’m grateful that we get the opportunity to design towards a better tomorrow. To work collectively to build a world where we all belong, feel seen, and supported. Architecture can enable us to reach a higher potential, and I love being a part of that process.”
Stephanie loves bringing people together through conversation, experiences, and architecture to create spaces where all feel welcome and uplifted, and she brings this passion to her interactions with students, families, and community groups. Her fluency in Spanish helps deepen connections, ensuring the voices of those most impacted by our work shape how the built environment reflects the cultural heritage of its communities.
Stephanie is a member of Mahlum’s JEDI committee where she helps facilitate meaningful conversations around justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion to further push our work forward. In her free time, she mentors architecture students from diverse backgrounds through mentorship programs, local universities, and the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
Stephanie received her Masters of Architecture from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Urban Design and Architecture Studies from New York University. She is a licensed architect in Oregon.
